      What is the thickness of this rug if you select the rug pad attached option? Thank you.

      Hi Kara, the pile height of Finch is .36", and the rug pad adds 1/4", making the entire product about .61". If you purchased an attached pad, it would tuck underneath and be closer to .5".

      Hi Aurora, Finch is .36" thick. We recommend a rug pad to provide an extra layer of cushioning and comfort, reducing noise, and to help protect your flooring. Rug pads also help extend the life of your rug and can help prevent slippage.

      Interested in Finch and a few other options, but concerned about comments about edges and corners curling. Is there a resolution if this is a problem? The only other rug I have ordered online from another firm had this problem and it took over a year to relax.

      Hi Kathy, our rugs are stored on rolls, so they may have the tendency to retain this shape for the first few days. This is normal and the rug will lie flat eventually, however, we do recommend helping "retrain" the fibers to remain flat more quickly. There are some steps to take to minimize this in the beginning, such as curling the ends under towards the floor or placing a heavy weight object on the corner. Thinner flat weaves, like Finch, may be more susceptible to curling, so an attached rug pad is recommended to help reinforce the shape of the rug.       Can the woven pattern be easily ruined by heavy dog claws? Can the color withstand liquid stain removers such as Resolve? Can the rug be cleaned with a steam cleaner?

      Hi Ellie, Finch is made of one of our most durable fibers and is the least prone to breakage. With that said, should you have an enthusiastic pet, there is a possibility of wear from repeated marking, scratching and digging. We recommend blotting spills with a dry cloth and then a wet cloth with water. If the stain is not removed with water alone, you can use a mild detergent on the spot. While you can use a steam cleaner, we generally do not recommend harsh chemicals such as Resolve on any of our rugs.
