    Pretty but rough

    This carpet looks pretty but is really really rough and hurts bare feet.     Great rug!

    The dimensions were perfect. It took a little longer than expected to get here-so took one star off. Beautiful rug and seems like good quality.

    Interested in Calpurnia 6x9. Do I need a rug pad? Rather not have one. Does rug look the same as the top?

    Hi Auri, we recommend a rug pad as it will help elongate the lifespan of your rug, hold it in place, and provide extra cushion, among other benefits. The rug should be represented by the images on this webpage, but you can also order a sample to see it in person!

    Hi Laura, Calpurnia has a softer feel than your standard Sisal rug, but Sisals tend to be scratchier than other natural fibers. We recommend you order a sample and give it a feel!
