    Stunning Runner

    Looked for a long time for a custom rug for a very long hallway. The Ada in navy is perfect. The color and striped pattern are subtle and soothing and the material is suited for lots of foot traffic. Really happy with our purchase.

    Love the rug

    First time purchasing a rug through Ernesta. We bought the Ada Linen rug for our dining room and we are very happy with the quality. We opted for the attached pad which made laying it down incredibly easy. We will be purchasing more rugs from Ernesta.

      Great rug

      Really love my new striped rug. It is exactly the size I ordered and looks just like the swatch. My only reservation is for the first week. There was a funny smell in my house, but it seems to have dissipated now.

      Can the thickness of the edging be reduced to accommodate a door swing?

      Hi Sheila, unfortunately we're not able to make any modifications that would impact the height of the rug at this time. If this is a concern for you, we would recommend considering our low pile flatweave rugs. Some customers also opt to shave some of the bottom of the door to accommodate thicker rugs.

      Is it possible for the stripes to go vertically if I ordered this as a runner? Or do they have to go horizontally?

      Answer
      You can orient the stripe in either direction. However, if the stripe naturally runs horizontally and you wish to have it run vertically, please note there’s a maximum measurement to consider. The website will display the maximum width, which becomes the 'length' of the runner when you change the orientation. You can share a photo of your space and the final measurements if you'd like us to check them for you at help@ernesta.com.

      Can padding be added to the back of the runner when it is ordered?

      Hi Judy, yes, you can add padding via our attached rug pad, which is sewn into the back of your rug. We recommend this added pad for extra cushion and to increase the longevity of your rug. The benefit of it being sewn in is that it won't slip or move outside of the rug!
